Born in Khabarovsk in 1987.

Graduated from the Saint-Petersburg State conservatory Orchestra Department in 2011 where studied academic saxophone under guidance of professor A.V. Kazakov.

Serafima Verkholat has an active concert schedule as a soloist and in orchestra – Youth Symphony Orchestra of «Tavricheskaya» Kapella , Saint-Petersburg Concert Orchestra and the Orchestra of Mariinsky Theatre.

She has performed at the major concert halls of Saint-Petersburg.

Serafima Verkholat is a participant of the contemporary music project Re-Music.org and cooperates with Composers Union.

She has received Diplomas of Honor at the «New Names» Festival in 2002 and International Jazz Festivals in Vladivostok and Khabarovsk in 2004 and 2006.
