During 1985-1989 he was the soloist of Moscow Bolshoi Theatre, when, being younger than Pushkin’s character, he successfully performed the role of Onegin (Eugene Onegin), also - Prince Eletsky (The Queen of Spades), Silvio (Pagliacci), Figaro (The Barber of Seville), Robert (Iolanta) and other leading roles. He is the prize winner of many international competitions:

• the 1st Prize and special Award for the best performing the Rimsky-Korsakov’s composition given to him by I. Archipova;
• Grand Prix of World Competition of young opera singers given to him by Princess of Belgium (Verviers Belgium);
• the two «Ettore Bastianini» Medals, golden and silver, he received from famous mezzo-soprano G. Simionato at Ettore Bastianini Vocal Competition (Toscana, Italy);
• he received the main prize of the Verdi Voices Competition held in native Verdi’s town of Busseto (Italy) from the King of Tenors C. Bergonzi;
• he is the prize holder of the Carlo Alberto Cappelli Competition for winners of the contests that was held at famous Arena di Verona.

Irina Archipova singled out the talent of the Leningrad and Odessa vocal school’s representative and blessed the start of his amazing professional career. Since then he has successfully performed on the world best stages opposite great masters as Irina Archipova herself, also V. Piavko, E. Obraztsova, V. Atlantov, Z. Sotkilava, E. Nesterenko, M. Kasrashvili under the baton of E. Svetlanov, Y. Simonov, A. Lazarev, F. Mansurov, D. Kitaenko, V. Dudarova and B. Gruzin.

Since 1989 he has been living and working in European countries holding the traditions of Russian vocal and drama performing art and representing them at the world famous venues such as сценах La Scala (Milan), Metropolitan Opera (New York), Bastille Opera (Paris), Teatro Colon (Buenos Aires), Covent Garden Royal Opera House, Prince Albert Hall and English National Opera (London) and at the prestigious theatres and concert halls, featuring in festival of Florence, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Copenhagen, Edinburgh, Genoa, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Oslo, The Hague and Clybourn.
